For an organization and a contest espoused to be so neutral -- for an organization so ready to accuse others as being political -- they sure do know how to play the game like snakes.

The EBU could've just asked their membership if they wanted a vote on participation. They could've just asked the Israel question outright. It would've forced members to stand by their decision to say no. They didn't. The EBU *actively chose* to give members an 'out' for their press releases.
