There are a lot of news blogs which contain blad/bladet in their names! We don't want to pretend to be anyone, we don't make money from content, we’re just having fun. Just let us be.

When the blog was created back in 2022 we only covered Eurovision news from Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, which explains the choice of the name for the blog. We started posting about Finland only at the end of last year.

The only exception is Finnish which has the word “lehti” for exactly the same thing. In Icelandic it will sound similar to other languages, although the spelling is different. (blað for sing. indef. or blaðið for sing. def.).

Good joke! /srs

We wanted to keep our name simple. We would also like people to understand that we are writing for Eurovision fans who usually roots for the Scandinavian countries in the contest from our name.

Bladet (sing. def.) is a common word for Danish, Norwegian and Swedish languages.

The band literally recorded a new song in the fall (written by Linda Dale - "Queen of Kings", "The Code"), but at that time the application window for MGP was already closed. Most likely, this song will either be released soon, or will appear in the selection performed by KEiiNO in the future.

Most likely, these are the same songs written during the summer camps. That's when Tom appeared in the stories of Teya (Austria 2023), who was also there (and whose song also got into the Maltese selection). =>
