EUCAP Somalia launched a new capacity building initiative: an internship programme aimed at strengthening legal analytical and procedural capacities within Somali law enforcement and justice institutions. An inauguration ceremony was held in Mogadishu to formally launch the programme.

EUCAP Somalia facilitated the MARCO³ training, provided by CRIMARIO II to 25 Somali participants who represented a wide range of Somali maritime stakeholders. The training fostered discussion and cross-agency exchange across Somalia’s maritime security and governance landscape.
