despite distance, time and disconnections. People may see and reflect on the different elements of the piece - Connection, Disconnection and Reconnection. The flashing lights on some of the cabling in the hands is meant to resemble router lights pulsing - symbolizing a digital heart beat.

"Connection" is a 3D piece I painted in Open Brush and then exported to Blender -Unity. It's deeply important to me and represents the love and connection we can experience online. How our digital hearts cross oceans of deep sea cable to reach each other and how enduring these connections can be -

I feel like I'm finally 'seeing' my for the first time, through eyes not clouded by self-doubt and critical over-thinking. The beauty of the piece is that upon moving towards it, you find that the details are just simple strokes and squiggles.
I'm reminded once again that art is like magic.

"Sun Shinning over Jagged Peaks" was just a digital landscape study I did back in 2018. However, seeing it again and in VR I have been reminded of how beautiful it is to make creative things and put them out into the world.
