Because my life is essentially a game of Snakes (Chutes) and Ladders, currently watching the Rhythm Dance from a Helsinki hospital room, 83KM away from the Tondiraba Ice Hall where I’m supposed to be right now. But in the context of this awful week, I’m just grateful to be watching from somewhere.

I’m one of those people who is committed to leaving their tree up through January 6th, so currently in the process of decoration removal. Going to miss my festive animal menagerie 😭

After being more or less home-bound for the past 8 weeks due to my body being particularly unfriendly towards me, it was a euphoric experience to be out seeing Billie Eilish last night. If you ever get the opportunity to see her live, seize it ❤️

Before I get stuck into the Grand Prix; Bekker/Hernandez first challenger victory at Golden Spin and massive new PB. I have dreamed of days like this. 🇬🇧❤️⛸️

In some early Thanksgiving cooking, I have just produced a big dish of plant-based mac n’cheese. This will be lunch, dinner and hopefully a side tomorrow (if it lasts that long) I don’t usually put pepperoni on top but I had some that needed to be polished off and I thought it might work (it did)

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at this, but I can say that many of the people who had very valid issues with season 3 of Ted Lasso are creative minded, analytical, and have a deep love for the characters. Ultimately, he’s the creator, it’s his story but this is unnecessarily patronising.
