Lost in the music’s blackened sea,
Night lays its heavy hush on me.
Dark chemistry floods vein and mind,
Sweet venom leaves my flesh behind.
I drift, a ghost of borrowed breath,
Till dawn’s cold truth outstares my death.
Alone, aware, undone by blame,
I scream in silence thy name.
Already you recede, a slow, soft severing,
stepping away to save me from the storm of you.
My solitude, my only suit, a shroud stitched to skin.
My tears, thin tin echoes in an empty room.
I would have worn the wound, welcomed the ruin,
bled in the hush, if only you had stayed.
Night hunts dawn in reckless flight
Hearts tip, tears cling to the edge
I wait for endless sleep now
You fade, yet hurt me each day
Night hunts dawn in reckless flight
Hearts tip, tears cling to the edge
I wait for endless sleep now
You fade, yet hurt me each day
I know the miles, I feel the ache
Too far to touch, too late to take
I seek your pulse, warmth, grace
No blame, just love’s soft, steady pace
I sign for a week-end, brief, yet true
Hope’s fragile thread, I’ll hold it through
Not surrender, just a pause
To keep our tale, not break its cause
I know the miles, I feel the ache
Too far to touch, too late to take
I seek your pulse, warmth, grace
No blame, just love’s soft, steady pace
I sign for a week-end, brief, yet true
Hope’s fragile thread, I’ll hold it through
Not surrender, just a pause
To keep our tale, not break its cause

Among the wraps, the bows, the cheer,
And laughter bright from year to year,
The finest gift, beyond it all,
Is love once known, that still may call.
To mourn its loss, to shed a tear,
Proves passion lived, and held sincere.
Among the wraps, the bows, the cheer,
And laughter bright from year to year,
The finest gift, beyond it all,
Is love once known, that still may call.
To mourn its loss, to shed a tear,
Proves passion lived, and held sincere.
As the year exhales, two loves fell apart,
In loud-colored nights and a cold volcano heart.
Pain taught me names, meetings stitched the seam,
A new tale begins, uncertain, yet a dream :
Grief laughs with joy, both ache and gleam.
As the year exhales, two loves fell apart,
In loud-colored nights and a cold volcano heart.
Pain taught me names, meetings stitched the seam,
A new tale begins, uncertain, yet a dream :
Grief laughs with joy, both ache and gleam.
Back to our place, I meet you everywhere:
in echoes on the walls, your face in air.
Your voice rings from each silent thing.
I wait for nothing now, only the ache
of having nothing left to bring.
Back to our place, I meet you everywhere:
in echoes on the walls, your face in air.
Your voice rings from each silent thing.
I wait for nothing now, only the ache
of having nothing left to bring.
We loved in circles open and wide,
Hands overlapping no need to hide.
Joy multiplied each time we shared,
Hearts uncounted openly cared.
Yet when one leaves the echo stays,
A quiet ache in freedom’s gaze.
For love is choice not golden cage,
Sweet pain and light on the same page.
We loved in circles open and wide,
Hands overlapping no need to hide.
Joy multiplied each time we shared,
Hearts uncounted openly cared.
Yet when one leaves the echo stays,
A quiet ache in freedom’s gaze.
For love is choice not golden cage,
Sweet pain and light on the same page.
