I've been invited into the Games Workshop store a couple of times for a free mini + paint tutorial, but I've been trying to avoid yet another addiction/hobby. That didn't stop me from picking up a couple of JoyToy figures, but I don't have to paint those, at least.

That sounds great!

It's impossible to read text from Warhammer out loud without doing a miserable voice. The audio books must be a ton of fun.

I think the stranger stuff is my priority. Being a horror fan, I love the heresy/chaos angle on things. Probably Nurgle/Tzeentch as favorites. I think that naturally puts Inquisition stories into the same category since they're trying to root it out.

That's two votes for the Necrons, so I'll move it up the list. All of this stuff sounds great to me - the Mars perspective with the machine weirdos is definitely one that appeals to me. I'm guessing it's full of wonderfully incomprehensible machine weirdo jargon?

Oooh that's fantastic. Digging in, thank you!

Knowing almost nothing about the Necrons yet, this feels like a must. Thanks!

I will put those on the list - thank you! My main jam is Chaos, but I suspect they'll usually show up as the enemies in these types of books.
