Thank you! It's wild to think how different it's become from it's first iteration, haha. It's coming a little full circle, though.

Anyway, TBE is super duper narrative controlled. The characters are kind of just being held captive by the events. It's called The Butterfly Effect after the theory and the focus is on how the character's seemingly small actions make huge changes later, but they have, like, no way off this ride.

The characters do lie a lot (they're human, after all), so there's foreshadowing through that. They just don't have the grand mystery-type stories.

I think most foreshadowing leads up to the audience discovering things that already happened/are happening. Backstory reveals 'n' all.

GP1994 is also very based on '[Char A] does this so [Char B] does this or [Event] happens'. There isn't a whole lot of room to hint that a Big Event is incoming, because those only happen when my OCs create the domino effect for it to occur.

It's also really enjoyable to be able to find where I want to foreshadow stuff. #growingpains1994 doesn't allow this as much (or at least I don't do so as much) because there are a mountain of episodes to make.

TBE is only gonna be, like, four books. A hell of a lot easier than 365.

I typed up a whole thread for this, but I think it's best I discarded it. I'm sleep deprived, so I'd probably regret what I typed if I posted it. The rule about not posting/trusting your thoughts after a certain time/energy level is very correct.
