I thought of him only positively until now, and accepted that a part of me would probably love him forever, despite knowing it was for the best that we split. Now I'm just glad he's out of my life. I don't want to associate with someone so insensitive and harsh.

I could have phrased this better but basically my dream said "you deserve better than an alcoholic who barely held it together around you"
