I have a friend who needed accommodations in engineering undergraduate- once he got them, he did well and is very successful professionally. The alternative is him literally flunking out, how is that better for anyone?

i think any insurgency’s success would be based on political rather than military factors (armed forces refuse to carry out orders, etc)

It’s just boredom, I think. Doing the optimal thing, the smart thing, investing in index funds, it’s not as exciting as doing something weird and stupid

With ~$50B of batteries we can accommodate all of the load growth in the USA through 2030. But they have to be placed in the right places on the distribution grid. So think less 100 MW single deployments and more 3-8MW distributed deployments and behind the meter batteries at homes and businesses.
