Often Confused. Use whatever pronouns you want; I'm still trying to figure which ones are best for me.
2) That said, with running again, you could end up like Bryan in 1900 and 1908, instead of Nixon in 1968.

The most recent example of a Democrat doing this would be Stevenson in 1956, but he probably expected to lose to Eisenhower again, and was protecting whoever would run in 1960. (2/2)

1) Harold Stassen, who ran for the GOP nomination ten times, is the classic example of "doing the same thing again and again."

Doing something twice, with some changes the second time around, doesn't meet the criteria for "again and again." (1/2)

I wouldn't expect people who are both racist and sexist to adopt a resolution that affects white men and white women the same way. (3/3)

I think the same thing will apply here. If you start with their premise that men are to be superior to women, then white men should be free to get the subordinate they want. White women, on the other hand, would be limited to marrying white men, since Men of Color shouldn't own whites. (2/n)

During Japanese internment, the U.S. government had two different classifications for mixed-race families with children.

White father, Japanese mother: The mother and children can stay with the father.

Japanese father, White mother: Send the family to the internment camps. (1/n)

Am I the only one thinking there are medical reasons to refrain from alcohol? Pregnant people aren't supposed to drink, for example.

There are people who aren't supposed to consume alcohol - pregnant people, for example. There are some medications that have very bad side effects when mixed with alcohol.

Can it overcome nearly .100-point gaps in OBP (.457 for Judge vs. .359 for Raleigh) and SLG (.688 vs. 589)?

OPS+ comes out at 215 for Judge, 169 for Raleigh.
November 14, 2025 at 7:06 PM
Judge had big advantages in OBP (.457 vs. 359), SLG (.688 vs. 589), OPS+ (215 vs. 169), and WAR (9.7 vs. 7.4).

Judge's batting was so impressive that Raleigh's defensive value couldn't close the gap.

"Matches ending suddenly with no clear result is seemingly a common occurrence." Tournaments were created with the sole goal of separating gamblers from their money. (1/2)

There's a rule that test matches are automatically ended with no winners after the fifth day of play.

This rule was instituted after a match which lasted for twelve days. There was no winner, as England had to catch a boat home from South Africa.
