I absolutely loved @megiddings.bsky.social’s book LAKEWOOD and it hugely helped me figure out the way forward for writing BIPOC characters who are experiencing trauma due to strange products changing the body. This blurb means THE 🌎.

I honestly cannot keep it together today after getting a STARRED REVIEW from @publisherswkly.bsky.social! So grateful that this book, made up of hospital visits and literal blood (sweat and tears), is being seen this way by readers.
