It's still apple, so not ideal, but it does exist! I also check qobuz, which has a download store if you click through the popups about streaming and has great quality music but a relatively limited selection (in the other direction from bandcamp, so they kinda work together).

Apple really really wants people to stream through apple music, but you can still buy music on iTunes and make mp3s. That's the main way I buy non-bandcamp artists!

So next I tried "stranger things teenagers edit after:2016-01-01" - WAY too much noise. Too many songs about teenagers! But there was one short, and it called the song "teenagers scare the living shit out of me," so I popped the lyric in the search bar too and the other short form vids showed up.

I know Stranger Things is a big vidding fandom, and it's vidded by a bunch of ship vidders and plot arc vidders, so I guessed "stranger things teenagers #fanvidfeed after:2016-01-01." That gave me the first vid - fanvidfeed results are mostly vids, but it's not the most popular term.

3) Block the fuck out of people if you can make a blocking tool work in your browser. (Blocktube works again so I use it in Firefox, but there are a bunch of scripts and extensions to let you block users and specific videos on youtube depending on your browser.)

There are also like 50 in the 20 second long tiktok/insta edit style if that's your jam. And another full song one that sadly has a frame rate problem.

Vivaldi has an explicit anti-AI policy. It is built on chromium, though, so the ad blocking isn't as robust as Firefox and Firefox forks.
I also use Firefox but you do have to do an about:config edit to turn off ai. (Some Firefox forks are less AI-y.)
