Haha, the new government has announced that they’ll perform a test drive for the urban train line starting on December 15, 2025.
Very few will remember that the Rajoelina government once announced a test drive for August 15, 2023, only for it to be cancelled indefinitely at the literal last minute.

Apparently, two weeks from now, Antananarivo will get its first urban passenger rail line.
I have a mixed reaction to that.
On one hand, yay, urban passenger rail!
On the other hand, I have SO MANY safety concerns.
