Firre’s greatest tragedy is never truly growing into adulthood. He was a traumatized child who found the light of his life in the kind and gentle Shalar. They embraced each other, flaws and all, but Firre never knew true freedom.

But I must admit — this game gives me a burst of inspiration. Some old stories about my previous main characters, some love for the lore, and some soul from DATV itself mix into a warm feeling of nostalgia. Dragon Age still feels like home, even after all these hard times.

I really like the story of my Rook. A young elf from the Veil Jumpers, full of curiosity and emotions, who almost broke under the weight of responsibility. Unfortunately, this story has mostly only existed in my head, not in the game. Sadly, I don’t feel a strong enough connection with the party.
