Voting should be accessible and free. It is a constitutional right. Here’s what I would do:

💰 IDs cost money - if we want to require IDs then we must make a national ID free and accessible
🗳️ Voting Day should be a national holiday and create 2 week voting window to enhance access

Mitch McConnell was hospitalized with flu-like symptoms.

He said he’s grateful for the excellent care he’s receiving though he’s spent his entire career depriving the people of the United States of that same quality care.

This is why if elected, I would absolutely support universal healthcare.

This week I discuss both types of ICE that continue to plague our communities. I also touch on Holocaust Remembrance Day, the legacy of a unique Kentucky Holocaust survivor, and the great need of our unhoused neighbors and how you can help. ❤️

Today my best friend in the whole wide world turns 14. 🎉

Lila and I never envisioned our lives together. She was living in South Carolina, I was traveling a lot for work. Then one day she became my foster dog and I failed quickly. We are now the best of friends. Love you forever, pickle.

I’m deeply saddened to announce to this community that the screening of “Melania” sponsored by Andy Barr for U.S. Senate is now sold out. I know you were all scrambling to get tickets. Thoughts and prayers.

At least the “SOLD OUT” is over the correct person.

Hi Andy Barr. We want affordable housing, accessible healthcare, a living wage, and for us to stop picking fights with the rest of the world.

We don’t want - or need - free tickets to a documentary that only exists because of billionaire bribery.

Please be careful and only get on the roads if you absolutely must. Conditions are still treacherous, and our mutual safety is of the utmost importance.

Thanks for the love!

A friend of mine with Kentucky connections now lives in Minneapolis. I asked her what folks outside of Minnesota could do to help. This is what she said.

They want people to speak out and they want people to see and remember and believe what is happening.

Snow storms can provide incredibly dangerous conditions and make roads impassable.

But it is ICE that is the real danger. ICE is what turns things even more treacherous, even deadly. ICE can be hard to see sometimes, but once it hits it can cause things to spin out of control, turn lethal.

If you see price gouging in Kentucky during this storm, please report it to the state’s price gouging hotline. 1-888-432-9257

Price gouging is defined as 10%+ increase over pre-emergency prices. Emergencies are not the time for people to get rich. Call them out and make them accountable.

A third person has been murdered by ICE.

This is now a war against the people by the government. It cannot stand.

Part of the MAGA Agenda that Andy Barr touts so much denies climate change as reality so polluters and big donors get unfair advantages. Central Kentucky is paying the price. Our farmers are paying the price.

Elon Musk doesn’t even go here

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a diplomat. I believed America should be a beacon.

Now our influence is slipping. In Oct 2025, the U.S. passport fell to 11th on the Henley Passport Index, the first time we’ve been outside the top 10 in the index’s 20-year history.

False promises and straight up lies: Trump’s calling cards
Today marks one year of President Trump’s second term, and it’s been a year of rising costs.

Groceries, rent, energy bills — all going up with no end in sight.

President Trump: what happened to your promise to make America more affordable for working people?

Happy MLK Day! In the words of Dr. King, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” We won’t be silent. We won’t be intimidated. We’re going to fight for justice, dignity, and real freedom for every single Kentuckian.
January 19, 2026 at 4:15 PM
Why does the press still rely so much on X to report on political candidates? It’s become such a MAGA echo chamber and I hate contributing to Elon Musk in any way shape or form.
January 18, 2026 at 7:44 PM
Hello people still can’t afford healthcare. Or housing. Literally nobody cares about this. But they do care about veterans being homeless and that many active duty families rely on SNAP benefits. Fixing that would actually be patriotic.

“bUt HoW wOuLd We PaY fOr It?!”

With any of this money they used for no reason at all but to pad their pockets and sow discord.
$1.5T for the military budget
$170B for ICE and Border Patrol
$1B to refurbish Trump's Qatar jet
$470M to send National Guard into cities
$230M for Trump's DOJ "compensation"
$200M for Kristi Noem's jets
$100M for Trump's golf outings

But no money to lower your healthcare costs.
