Some of those “kids” are elected officials who represent constituents, and ages range from 18-39. They are not 12-year olds or teenagers being dumb. Their political careers should be over (but it won’t be, of course).

I encourage publishers/creators to communicate as much as possible to backers, whether good or bad news, as well-informed backers tend to be happier backers. Ultimately, though, it's the publishers' rodeo and not appropriate for manufacturers to directly answer backers' ?s about timelines. 2/2

This is great screenwriting advice overall, give your character a bit of a hook. Like that old Telly Savalas show Kojak where he’s always munching on one of those dum-dum lollipops.
