Maybe it's beside the point, but it isn't sedition. It MIGHT be mutiny, or fomenting mutiny, were it not for the explicit disclaimer that the military authority must be "lawful." It'd more likely be a charge under UCMJ Art. 92, failing to obey orders, defensible if the order is manifestly unlawful.

Will this be the thing that makes major news outlets finally start to say "Oh wait this guy is actually dangerous? Because one day some malign state actor might murder me and mutilate my corpse beyond recognition if I do journalism he doesn't like. And Trump will blow it off."

No. No, it won't.

The democrats do not need to attempt to do that. It is Trump's second term after all. The definition of a lame duck officeholder is one who is not eligible to serve again when the current term expires.

I'd have swapped out the lede for the headline, myself.

You know, it's sort of comforting to know that there are still some limits, some things that the folks on the other side of the aisle simply cannot stomach no matter what. This feels quite far down the barrel, but hey, maybe there actually IS a floor.

Here's a picture of Roy Moore, just for S&G's.

But, my cousin lives in an exurb of Seattle, not that much further forth at ~47.2°. This is looking southwest. I do not think he changed any camera settings and told me in conversation he could see the red glow of the aurora with his naked eye.

FWIW this is all I got to see in Portland, seven degrees further north than you. This is a 15-second exposure at ISO 800.

Repost with an iconic fictional band

(Or in this case, performer, she had a band but it was really just her.)

I've said it before, I'll say it again now.

Within a few hours of Margaret Thatcher's statue being put up on a plinth in Grantham, England, a local merchant had set up a stand nearby offering eggs for £10, saying it is what the purported champion of the British free market would have wanted. He had customers.

We're there any cheers? I would think NFL attendees split right down the political middle.

Here's the wisdom.

Cut your bread like this, and then a sandwich is a taco.

I don't think y'all are ready to talk about this. To me, it suggests a weakness in Democratic GOTV. Even in these amazingly favorable conditions.
