Mt. Washington even plays a role in Julian May's excellent "Galactic Milieu Series" -- I'd read that before going up there and it gave me some extra respect for the mountain. Even prepared with winter gear in the summer it can be challenging weather-wise.

This is exactly the sort of response that I was hoping MIT would respond with, reaffirming MIT's values but also being clear that they are not going to submit to demands of the administration.

Imagine if they had lithium ion batteries in the cigarette lighters? (I guess butane lighters only have ~12Wh to 64Wh of energy which is way less than most power banks.)
