It's also not uncommon because of this for Lif to hug Hrid in particular just to feel things (heat or otherwise) & Hrid to just coddle him for a while & give him a moment.

Very old crusty art where Hrid is gently holding Lif (where both are pointedly shirtless, and Lif is in full human form) where Hrid held Lif at breat level, and Lif accepts his fate by gently resting his head against Hrid's breasts (accompanied by a soft 'biff' sound effect upon contact). While Lif lays against him, he has a melancholy, neutral face, but also tears welling in his eyes in spite of that. The caption says: Lif: These... are my emotional support tits... Sparrow:

A lore iceberg about Jase "Sparrow" Yoshino from top layer to bottom: layer 1 She's ace, and thus completely immune to Rhok'zan's intense aura of influence. However, she does have slight crushes on big, powerful figures (such as Erin or Camilla). Her Breidablik was inherited from Ephrel. In her down-times she does digital drawings. layer 2 Lerena shared her power with Sparrow to turn her into a kitsune and give her the ability to use fox magic. This was amplified when Hiru and his own renamon gave them their x-antibody, unlocking Sparrow's attuned alt. Her guilmon-themed ear-piece was bought due to being unable to secure a renamon one prior at the time. This predated her eventual second partner winding up being a guilmon. layer 3 She has insanely low heat tolerance and gets instantly ill during high humidity and temperature areas. She likes MMORPGs and other long-term online games, having not only (accidentally) inherited Ephrel's digi-estate under the guise of one such 'game', but also met Ephrel earlier on in a different game, albeit didn't realize this until well after they hooked up. layer 4 She, like Eclair, is the most in-her-element with long repetitive grinds. Lerena molded herself to serve a mentor-like older sister to Sparrow in resonating with Sparrow's wish for a sister who would actually treat her like a caring sister (unlike her actual estranged sisters). Lerena's presence ironically influenced Althene to go the opposite direction of acting more like Sparrow's little-sister/daughter instead. layer 5 She, like Teru, likes to go lucky bag hunting during the holidays, and is the most comfortable going on supply runs back in her world. layer 6 In her past life in Miitopia, she was a scientist, which carried over in Sparrow being the most immersed in digi-tech and operating mechs (such as Grani or Imperialdramon) in the present.

Ephrel:

A lore iceberg about Ephrel Fiore from top layer to bottom: layer 1 They're easily and immediately charmed by cats or cat-monsters. They easily and violently triggered if cats (especially lions) are harmed or about to be harmed. They were involuntarily turned into an alfr and became the dokkalfar of longing dreams Spectabilis. Instead of Breidablik, their primary weapon is the flower of fate. layer 2 The corpse of their past robinsona life eventually reincarnated into Chrom's digimon partner, Tangie, while Ephrel retained their former memories of said life. They were why Chrom stubbornly still eats oranges unpeeled like apples. They themselves do the same, albeit as a result of having pica. layer 3 Their strong bond with Mastemon persisting even in their deaths heavily influenced Spectabilis's unusual design. Likewise their strong bond with their newest digimon partner led to why their ascended alt took after Diarrbitmon rather than Freyja or Freyr. layer 4 In their past as part of a hacker group, they were aquainted and mentored by Mirei, who was the inspiration to their digimon partner Mastemon. The heart-shaped hair ornament at the end of Ephrel's ponytail was originally Dehlia's, and transforms across all of Ephrel's alts except their robinsona one. layer 5 They had an older sister, Dehlia, who was the only family to accept Ephrel as an enby. Her death fractured the family and led to Ephrel's estrangement. Angie, Devi, and the late Leona all molded themselves to be sisterly-like protective figures, resonating with Ephrel's wish of filling the void in their heart where Dehlia once was. Myaha not only molded herself of a similar wish, but also after a digimon capable of replicating Fang's and Cronos's ability to de-transform others at will: Beastmon. layer 6 In their past life in Miitopia, they were an elf, which carried over into their eventual fate of turning into a dokkalfar, and their (and Mastemon's) associations with bows in the present.

In his past life in Miitopia, he is the only 1 of the summoners to maintain two jobs: a cat & pop star, both of which carried over in his curse as a mew & his performer talents in the present. (continued in comment)
A lore iceberg about Kyo Raitora from top layer to bottom: layer 1 He can transform into anything he's in range of or memorized, but only the 'shiny' variant of his target. He can project powers into his singing both as a move (ex perish song) or as an effect (to refresh/heal). He's the only summoner to maintain a business he clocks into regularly while also being a summoner (his restaurant Cafe Papilon). He changed his hair color to match Eclair to make him feel less alone/odd. layer 2 Since his transformation, he was able to understand all other monster types, including pokemon. He brushes this off as not being as enchanting as the ability implies. Because of Teru, he memorized all of the eeveelutions he can turn into without them present. layer 3 Despite 'evolving' into a mew from a ditto, his psychic abilities as a mew were stunted. Becoming a mew didn't stunt his ditto qualities, however, which is why his kids take strongly after the other parent. He instinctively hates other dittos and mews, the latter made worse due to them often neglecting his inability to levitate (to course correct from often flinging him off high places). layer 4 Funded a personal set of benches in front of Cafe Papilon to twist Lumiose's arm against installing anti-homeless decals on them (like most other benches). Is deeply facinated by pokemon history/folklore and artifacts associated with legendaries, many of which he owns. layer 5 When too riled up or excited, he sometimes lapses into a Galarian accent he's embarrassed about. Also when too riled up or excited he has a style of cooking that's incredibly chaotic and leads to a LOT of thrown bits around (ex: empty containers, lids, etc).

Eclair:

In his past life in Miitopia, he was a cleric, which carried over in Eclair retaining potent healing abilities in the present. His legendary alt, on top of calling back his god-like aspects as Magni, shares themes calling back to the Great Sage.
A lore iceberg about Eclair/Magni from top layer to bottom: layer 1 As an incomplete forma, he has magical toned hair, lacks pupils, and has a permanent 'glassy eyed' look, among other deformities. The other gods of Zenith recognize him as Thorr's 'son'. He's the only forma created by Thorr, rather than Alfador like other typical formas. layer 2 His Breidablik didn't initially function properly like the others. Over time it eventually gained a function, but instead of summoning heroes normally, it teleports heroes already present in Zenith to his location from afar. The only forma who is not only a composite of two different heroes (Thorr and Kiran), but doesn't inherently carry the personality or memories of either. layer 3 When finally meeting Alfador, his deformities, disassociation with his progenitor heroes, and disconnected loyalties to him compared to Thorr's, all contributed to Alfador calling him a 'defect'. Like Kyo, he can shapeshift into many forms (an ability both Loki and Thorr have), but as he lacks Kyo's commitment and focus, he mentally limits his options of what to turn into. layer 4 He's capable of understanding and speaking with all monster types and empathizing with animals, possibly due to him being partially beastly himself (as a quetzal). Like Thorr, he is capable of creating other formas of his own design, though he exclusively prefers creating creatures, such as long-extinct pokemon. layer 5 He can technically shapeshift to present more feminine (or more masculine likewise). However, as his feminine alt resembles too close to Thorr, he suffers dysphoria from staying in said form too long. In all his snake-like forms, he's highly venomous, though his venom is unique and situational on its dangers, and isn't technically directly deadly.

Teru:
A lore iceberg about Teru Kabichu from top layer to bottom: layer 1 By virtue of him being a missingno, digimon will frequently mistake him as a fellow digimon. Was turned into a missingno from past trauma. His new curse led him to be chronically ill and fluctuates in power and strength potential. Among the latest descendants of a legacy of kimono dancers and Johtonian performers. layer 2 Since his transformation, he is capable of understanding all monster types, particularly pokemon. He treasures this ability in helping him feel closer with his pokemon in critical moments. He's the only summoner who isn't estranged with his family on bad terms, although he distanced from them early on out of fear of how they'd react to his curses. layer 3 When making a determinant pact between a lugia and ho-oh as a child, Ho-oh fulfilling said pact in his adulthood was heavily biased due to Teru's wish to save Nohr, despite wanting lugia more prior. Xander harbors guilt and blames himself for forcing him on this. layer 4 His strong interest in lugia over ho-oh stems from how all of his family except Chiho (his sister, who has lugia) and Ken (his brother, who hadn't got either yet) all had ho-ohs over the course of their pokemon journeys, his grandma having a shiny one. Out of all his partners, he worries and dotes over Takumi and Xander the most, in subtle ways. layer 5 When sharing his powers with Erin via giving her his blood, he had stronger associations with The Long Quiet via her. Nohr's throne amplified this connection. He is plagued with fears of infecting his condition onto others, be it friends, family, lovers, or his pokemon, adding to his insecurities. layer 6 In his past life in Miitopia, he was a princess, which carried over in sharing the same fan-based style as a kimono dancer in the present. His legendary alt is a combination of this and the thief class.

Mahiro:
A lore iceberg about Mahiro Warri from top layer to bottom: layer 1 They're anygender, and their partners frequently rotate what pronouns they call them by. They're a vampiric-werewolf who was magically scarred. layer 2 In their past life with the summoners, Erin was their first party member, and Eclair was their last, but reunited with their present incarnations in the reverse order. They still retain the pendant and connection to the God of Conveniently Placed Inns and still retain their miitopian horse. layer 3 Despite being affected by a curse partially sealing their earlier jobs' powers, their lycanthropy stems from their past as the cat class, they can partially sing with the others, and they still can revive fallen allies (albeit via slapping them). They can revive fallen units (via their Enthrall ability) if they infect them with vampirism prior to falling. layer 4 They've been estranged from the Great Sage ever since the defeat of the Darkest Lord. After their experiences with both the Dark Lord and Darkest Lord, they have a fear of watching others literally lose their faces... Despite going on to marry the one summoner of the group who frequently loses her face during rituals. layer 5 They, Hrid, and Ephrel are the only ones to see Erin's dream look and the only one to recognize her dream self is her OG Miitopia self. Their direhowl succeeded the legacy of their (MH) tiger, and their faleris aqua was originally Marcus's before being replaced by Marcus's current faleris. layer 6 As a miitopian, their prior classes/jobs to summoner were warrior, pop star, cat, and vampire, in that order. Their current vampirism is due to retaining this job. Their legendary alt calls back aspects of their previously sealed earlier jobs, finally breaking the remnants of the seal.

A lore iceberg about Erin Rhodes from top layer to bottom: layer 1 She's ace, and thus completely immune to Rhok'zan's intense aura of influence. Has faux 'cat ears' which lower if she sprouts real ones. She suffers from sustained long-term effects from overuse of her rituals, including a supernaturally high pain tolerance and an eldritch form she can partially take in body or soul. Has practical medicine experience before becoming a healer. Layer 2 Ryoma taught her to fight with a lance specifically so she can best counter him. Her skills then later passed down to Shiro. The only one of the summoners who had experience with a firearm prior to Breidablik. Frequently redirects Ryoma and Camilla's attentions to her to curb their overbearing focus on Corrin and Kamui. layer 3 Her dreamscape had to be constructed from a void after bonding with Hrid. Frequently writes fics from PG-romance to smut usually with themes of human x monster relationships in exchange for rituals from the book-keeper Muu. layer 4 Erin's whole name is a chosen name. Her actual name is never revealed. Her birthday is also not her actual birthday, but a new date her partners chose for her (due to negative associations of her actual one) Frequently crochets or sews plushies as a hand exercise and stress relief routine. The plushies end up as gifts or rome decor. layer 5 Her true god is the god that both The Shifting Mound and The Long Quet split from (rather than Nyanlathotep). When sharing her powers with Teru via his blood, she had stronger associations with The Shifting Mound. Hoshido's throne amplified this connection. layer 6 In her past life in Miitopia, she was a mage, which carried over as a ritual user and combat medic in the present. Her legendary alt became a combination of her mage job and Mahiro's warrior job.

Barring multiple like-hero cases (ex: Erin's Alfonse, Xiliang's Alfonse, Lifonse, Lif) Takumi can do this.

While he mostly used this ability in canon in his fallen alt (when Anankos took over his body), in Warriors, he uses the same ability as his Awakening finisher, meaning it's an inherent power

So, a lot of why I've been slowing down lately is I've been working on some ref sketches.

'Oh this is fine, this'll be quick, no prob', except it's also like 6 or so different sheets with multiple parts to it (& this was supposed to be a compromise to hold off on ref sheets 💦)

So the end result is Thorin, Valinoir, & Shiro ended up being the most overprotected babies in the whole army, by virtue Lif can & will brood on them and hiss at anything that approaches them, up to & including Hrid (he feels bad tho) or Erin (she'll hiss back) out of reflex.

This but haunted.

Usually it's in the ballpark of weeks to a month with them, give or take circumstances (like 1 of them got knocked up at the time, bad mood, bad timing, etc).

The exceptions are Sparrow, who try as she may, never got comfortable to really count the '1st', & Erin, whose 1 time/kid with Lif is this
