Seen a lot of folks say the "investigation" Trump wants into Clinton will be the excuse they use to not release the Epstein files. They might try but the bill is pretty clear on this and how it has to be handled. Courts wouldn't have a hard job. So lawsuits could delay a little, but not that long.

Big update here. In a Truth Social post, he walks back what he said on af1 and says he'll release "what they're entitled to."

Found it. DOJ declined to say in court. but to press they claim it was deliberations. Whether they'll make that argument to the judge, who knows.
Still, I'd be surprised if a judge hadn't read enough transcripts to know the difference between a break leading to deliberations and something off.
