Zyphatron's teleport sequence is now complete. On this project I'm looking to complete features as I do them, rather than improve the features with subsequent iterations. Might work, might not.

Back on this PlayDate project. Graphics are starting to appear from pixel supremo @craigstevenson.bsky.social and I've started work on the robot interface sub game. The game is called Zyphatron.

This never really got finished, but it's still quite usable. It's a modern browser based version of my old Spectrum Graphics Editor utility, for browsing and editing graphics in Speccy snapshot files. Available at bitglint.co.uk/sge

Added more movement intelligence to the NPC robots in my new Playdate project, and also made the whole play area visible, just for testing, but it actually looks quite good. Might keep it like that.

More work on the new Playdate project. Better player movement, rotation and animation. Also got the NPC robots moving around, all be it in a very basic way. All graphics are just placeholders.

My new Playdate project is progressing well. Maps are created using the excellent Tiled. Rooms can be either small static areas, or larger scrolling areas.
