Earlier in the year a Republican friend and I were sharing predictions of what would happen under Trump. He predicted a boom. I predicted chaos, bungling and a recession. I didn't expect to see it all in the first year.

Don't just say Republicans did an awful thing. Instead, turn it around on them.
E.g., if Hegseth investigates Kelly, say that Republicans are degrading what a criminal investigation means so that it will have less public impact when their own real crimes are investigated.

My father was in the Korean War and never said anything word about it. After reflecting on it for many years, I conclude: you don't have to be big, strong, tough, heroic, smart, brave, fearless etc. You just have to stand up when it's your turn.

I can't imagine what Russia has on Trump that could be worse than what we already know. Is Trump really transgender?

When you talk to Republican voters, politely using facts and logic doesn't shake their beliefs. But if you bluntly point out that their thinking is delusional, they're offended.
