Just bought a Anker F3800 Plus to augment my home power backup needs. With the discount and tax rebate it’s under $2k now and can power most necessary things for at least 4-5hrs, longer if you conserve. Plus no noise or fumes of a gas generator!

If not, and it’s too difficult to run some Ethernet cables to those spots, check out powerline ethernet adapters. I’ve had good luck with them when running a line was impossible.

I was just working on my FSx analysis tool (mostly for ONTAP and Windows), so I’ll look into this a bit more. FSx certainly has some odd 1-way doors depending on engine type.
