It's a deeply unpopular opinion here, but I am a lot more worried about how our media ecosystem has for decades elevated and rewarded people who are routinely this wrong than I am worried about the impacts of AI

It's a deeply unpopular opinion here, but I am a lot more worried about how our media ecosystem has for decades elevated and rewarded people who are routinely this wrong than I am worried about the impacts of AI

I know this is an extremely lukewarm take, but I think the usefulness lies somewhere between the "useless" that anti-AI folks insist it is, and the "mind-bendingly world altering" that the AI hype boys think it is
