Update on this: gift has been purchased! It's not an easy time for their family so I think this is a nice gift within budget, and I chose a pretty card with a Degas painting on it instead of an overly cheerful birthday card.

I was wrong, it's "tori" apparently. And that must be why some of my dental x-rays come out blurry, it's so uncomfortable to have that little photo backdrop thingy cutting into my gums
