On the fly-crimson rosella yellow variant.
What a strange naming convention.
Rosella with blue grey wings outstretched and pale yellow chest in full view. There is a red patch across its beak and a blue chin patch. The setting is my black worm farm with a few pale red geraniums and assorted greenery.

Huge single velvety red rose with rain drops like transparent blisters, vivid pink multipetalled wet rose, and yellow rose deeply yellow in the centre and fading to rich cream on outer petals. Also scattered with rain drops.

Pinky coloured caterpillar on green grass stalk. Almost looks like 4 yellow eyes on the head or maybe it is the 2 yellow feathery flower like blooms on the tail? There are many segments. The legs are pink and gold tipped. It might be a painted moth caterpillar.

Long beige strand of millet seed is very attractive to the group of red-browed finches showing off their bright red heads and tail flash. At times there are a dozen if the little birds perched on the strings Strands of sorrel seeds in light green with a pinkish tinge as they mature. Light bright green rumpled clusters of spinach seeds. The largest ones are out of focus and blurred.

Medium sized bird pecking on the ground “dove grey” with pretty white spotted neck band, and inconspicuous little brown bird is a very fat sparrow.

I’ve just had to turn in one of these predators. I don’t dislike cats, but irresponsible owners really wind me up.

I can remember when gambling was frowned upon and the huge cost to families and civilised society was recognised. No pokies in Victoria. Betting on sport was a clandestine activity.
Gambling makes us all losers.
Apparently negations to reduce gambling ads have commenced and channel Nine wants govt ie us to pay compensation! The gall of them.

Hume highway. Long straight stretch of road ahead, double lane in front and beside. The sky is very blue and low hanging clouds fluffy white and grey. There are dark trees on one side and in the distance low blue hills. This goes on and on for many kms until in summer the sky is cloudless and the hills are pale beige.
