It would test whether attachment requires exclusivity. It would help distinguish “exclusivity” from “stability”. It would explore whether multiple romantic partners impact the caregiving system.

Does attachment research ever consider non-monogamous families?

Right now: almost none.

What we do have is research on same-sex parents, blended families, communal child-rearing, alloparenting, & polyamorous relationships (but NOT their children).

Wish they let him be more goofy during the OG Bloodline storyline. Imagine how him and Sami would’ve interacted 😂
