Art, Music and Ideas. Occasional silly pictures of imaginary modernist buildings made with Blockitecture wood blocks.
Hopefully the empty pockets will encourage the right people to put an end to Putin's tyranny.

No, not really.

I'd check the blueberries aren't hiding round a corner to ambush you tomorrow.

I hope you have a lot of windows.

And to think I was one of those self-employed to whom there was 'no help' provided. As I'd earned just over the threshold, so I spent 18 months with nothing.

The true art of microtonality is to not have the listener hear any 'out of tune-ness'. If the scale/tuning system is correct, the music should sound 'right'.

Hoping it will give Starmer's head (and Labour's head generally) a wobble on silly ol' red lines.

The implication is that Russia has no interest in ending their invasion. Their intention is to take all of Ukraine, and I think the US is playing along.

I wonder if this will actually be 'enabling' for Europe - free from deferring to the US, it might be a call to action, and focus minds rather than the endless junketing.
December 8, 2025 at 12:24 PM
i wonder if this has ever been used as the cover for a Poirot collection?
December 8, 2025 at 12:18 PM

US national security strategy targets Europe and spares adversaries
The document released by the White House on Friday, in which Washington's traditional alliances no longer entail any real commitment, marks a historic break from the post-1945 era.

That spell upon the minds of men
Breaks never to unite again,
That led them to adore
Those Pagod things of sabre sway
With fronts of brass, and feet of clay.
