The runtime regularly updates so they want the updates to be independent of the OS. Its like how Java 21 is still getting updates even though Java 25 exists, different versions are used for different things that get different updates.

Yeah, that stuff should not be sold in general, but especially not on the biggest game store.
People are just self reporting if they're complaining about that stuff being taken down 😟

I agree, but I still worry about the slippery slope of what is "acceptable"...
Who says they won't just keep slowly pushing restrictions on what isn't okay.

I used it to make my new website. Had some weird things, but those were shortly fixed after actually reading the docs (which do a good job explaining things)

The DX is nice because it just uses what you already know, which as someone who previously had only done HTML+CSS+JS was much appreciated
