My mom and aunt kicked my sister out of the house she has been living in for over 10 years. She is in the hospital with sepsis and they told her to “apply for assistance because the government can find her a house” as if that is even possible.

I was hoping by the time I was old (aka my thirties) that I would have enough money to take care of my mom and sister and take them away from that shitty side of the family but I’m old and have no assets. I was hoping the economy wouldn’t fall to pieces enough so that I would at least have a job.

So thankful that my sister is alive and doing better. Hopefully she’ll stay sepsis free but if not at least I know she will have a great hospital nearby.

My sister is still in the hospital. She went in on Sunday after two days of severe stomach pain and vomiting. She has sepsis. I’m flying out to see her I hope she heals. I’m afraid to know what it’s like if she doesn’t.

Trying to get the scared cat to the vet because of ongoing stomach issues has been a fucking bear of a task. She always ends up clawing the shit out of my partner and I and she’s just so fast.
