You're not supposed to build your whole game in them just quick prototyping. But too many people use it to replace actual code.

Given that Blueprints were a HUGE reason for choosing Unreal over Unity (I started in the '00s with PopCap's GameMaker), this is BIG big.

I have a weird take on this: I started GameDev with GameMaker 7, and I liked the codeless programming through visual nodes. It's why I like Unreal. It reminds me of making indie games on PopCap as a teen.
