My mom grew most of our vegetables and she always boiled them. Years later, I found out it was because she knew we would freak out if we saw a bug, and if she boiled them, any bugs she had missed rose to the surface 😖

No no no, I lick all my plates! It's the most environmentally friendly solution, since the grease can't go down the drain and I don't want to use a paper towel. I actually give myself the shallow bowls all the time so I can lick them easily. 😂 Now I feel like a complete weirdo.

I know this is nerdy but I was very upset by the Mount Doom scene in the third LOTR movie. Because in the book, Gollum is the vehicle needed to destroy the ring, which I took as a lesson about why Frodo and Sam not killing him earlier was so important. In the movie they changed it to add drama.
