They are both action-focused, but in different ways: problem-focused has actions aimed at reducing climate change and its consequences. Emotion-focused has actions for reducing or managing the emotions and stress caused by climate change, but that do not address climate change or its impacts.

Thank you @hannahdaly.ie for your candor about how climate anxiety can be a motivator in a professional context to take more action (and good to hear it's not a personally debilitating experience). We found that EU citizens support a mix of mitigation strategies, namely renewables and behavior change *alongside* carbon removal (through a/reforestation & direct air capture and sequestration) and nuclear, especially if they will have a positive environmental impact now and in the future:
