Odd how just one day a habit dies & there is no real reason for it. Glad it happened though, I have certainly bitten my nails short & had them hurting for a week & wished I didn’t do that.

It’s also wildly helpful having nice nails for peeling stickers & weeding sheets of material. Nice productivity benefit

Whenever I am stressed my default is to do something nice for myself: a haircut, lil moisture mask, shaving or just general bodily upkeep. Spa time.
It means I look wonderful when in a messy state, but also that my little nail file at my desk can turn into stress relief as I make my hands pretty ✨

I got a motorcycle helmet for biking in the winter & make sure if you do that it has good ventilation! Mine constantly fogged up which made cold riding very difficult.
There are full face ski helmets that would likely work better & offer great protection ✨
