This was a Asylum application, it requires very specific circumstances as only shares a waiting list for other Asylums.
There was also no legal reason to deny this guy asylum.

That doesn't seem to match with anything I said. But in the US it's not defamation unless the facts are false and also yeah nobody is getting jail for it.
