SAME, the one thing I remember from Endless Eight is how Koizumi and Kyon both dress like butch lesbians in one loop, respectively. As a film student I wildly respect the choice of making something like Endless Eight, but maybe wait until season 3 is greenlit if you do asdgfjhgs

Yeah, completely!! I feel like how it doesn't fulfill any potential is kind its other gimmick atp and I genuinely can't tell if it's on purpose or not. It has (imo) an absolutely baller premise and no version of the story ever thinks it all the way through.

Koizumi is my man tho, maybe he was kind of my first Garak in a way, smiley asshole who openly lies to you the whole time
main difference is that Koizumi can under very specific circumstances do magic tricks sometimes

Like I fucking love that franchise, read all the light novels, read all the manga, all the spin-offs, watched every bit of animation of it, including the parodies, the spin-offs
