That Grauniad item had me grab my early childhood book, a family handmedown 10th ed. printed in WW1 with rough cut pages, was a very much loved & imagination firing tale. Also own a 1947 print edition of Methuen's The Kenneth Grahame Book which still has The Piper chapter. :)

G'day to you, and yeay Woodie! Have had this poster stuck on my wall for years, think it came from one time when the BNP troublesome ranting was really nasty and the Folk world responded strongly & properly. Really should put it in a decent frame & rehang more prominently.

This was Little Madam after the first lot of 'hello greetings' scrittches this morn, she was demanding a second session with that look and also confused as I was showing her Saturne on my phone but she started purring loudly so I think that's a big approval of His Magnificence. :)

Splendid picture. There's a few garden orb spiders using the spaces between my waste collection bins for their webs on my drive so each week I have to carefully unhitch the web of the bin to put out. Been ongoing for weeks now, they lurk in the ivy hanging behind too. Very bad phone pic of one:

Please let your folks know this UK oldie thinks they're great and 100% approves of your Dads T-shirt statement. Hope they have a great group of similarly minded supportive friends. Sadly over here we're also seeing the need for a 'Folk against Fascism' revival yet again. An old poster on my wall.

Read the AQOTWF book, still have it, see below, back in my teens & then saw the 1930 B&W film when at Art College. Seem to remember seeing the colour film of 1979 on tv at some point too. Will have to wait til this latest 2022 version comes on tv or the Lad can grab it via Plex. Yes, war is brutal.
