I had a relaxing Thanksgiving after doing all the cooking. We had ham (which was waaay too salty on it's own and probably will be better in a casserole), a kale and radicchio salad with butternut squash and apple pieces, oven fried potatoes, yam, and dressing.

I saw this at the grocery store and decided that I must try it. It will probably be too spicy for me because I am weak, but I cannot resist a fusion like this.

Surely, it can't be worse than the wasabi ramen that cleared my sinuses all the way to the top of my head, right? Right??

This is its scooped out flesh, which is the sweetest thing I have ever tasted. This fruit is also the sweetest fruit among all of our fruit trees. The sweetness is ridiculous:

For Tsukimi, I bought a Mooncake.

One of these days, I want to see if there is a local bakery that makes these. (One that does not require me to go all the way to San Francisco.)

But if I have to go to SF next year, I want to find one on Clement St.

Hilariously, I did not realize that, according to this map, Mar Vista and West LA are two totally different neighborhoods quite a bit a ways from each (not as far as Santa Monica and Downtown LA tho lol). I'd been calling my neighborhood both interchangeably my entire life. Lol.

Earlier this month, I chanced upon this limited edition chip flavor and needed to try it because, well curiosity killed the cat.

So I bought some.

They were okay, they kind of tasted like there was mango in it.

The wallet I purchased. I watched it for months before purchasing it and it is just as lovely in person as it was in photographs in her shop.

Even the smallest of acts are important.

It rained so much that the creek nearby overflowed its banks and into the vineyard next door. I didn’t stop to take pictures of the other side but the other side also overflowed its banks towards the Waldorf School.

The portion of a vineyard where the creeks floodwaters are flowing directly into it, inundating the plants. The perimeter of the vineyard is lined with trees, blackberry bushes and a lone wooden stair. Water flooding a vineyard as far as the eye can see. The perimeter is bramble and trees.

These were hard to choose, since there others like Natsume Yuujinchou or Mushishi and a whoooole lot of questionable 90s yaoi that I was into.

Plus I didn't really read comics outside of some Calvin and Hobbes, Gar Side, and Sunday Comics until I went to college.
