The NY Times fucked up this chart. My takeway is that it is still mind-blowing.
CORRECTED chart from the NY Times showing the age distribution of NYC voters in the Democratic mayoral primary. About 75 thousand people aged 18 to 24 voted in the 2025 primary, compared to less than 50 thousand in 2021. The age groups with the most voters are those aged 25 to 29 and 30 to 34, with both groups topping 100 thousand voters, a large increase from 2021.
