I just want to say that I am terrified of what is happening, the amount of times I've been harassed by young boys who are die hard republicans is crazy. My ex used to force me to stop talking about politics because he obviously knew he was wrong but could never admit it because of his ego.

How far behind the times is this creep? I was a teenager in the 90s and, after Nevermind came out, dyeing your hair blue and getting nose rings was so mainstream that even the kids in the shitty suburb where I lived were doing it. In 2025, it’s about as transgressive as painting your nails.

Just finished the best book I’ve read this year. A collection of connected stories about the unique hellscape of our modern world, it is reminiscent of Todd Solondz style cruelty comedy. This isn’t “dark” humour - it’s a pitch black tunnel through the mind of the terminally online and totally alone.
