Agreed. I’m not sure anymore what will actually cause a public out cry and change of direction? Are we so far into far right thinking pervading public discourse we can’t see anything properly?

Absolutely and it’s not exactly a secret. It’s our inadequate governance and the politicians more interested in votes than making services work as best they could. And local government shambolic and incompetent and at times immoral.

Yes overworked people in public services is a reality everywhere. I find it hard to rationalise why we accept this as normal for the most important and fundamental necessities in life. Health, education, social care. We all need them and benefit from them. We value wrong things 🤔 maybe?!
