Just…find some interests and hobbies. Be kind and have fun stuff to do and talk about.

Yes! So many people would rather police behavior than develop a personality. When my husband and I started dating, I lived in a college neighborhood. One night, some frat guys on a second-story porch called him a fa***t, and I thought “he’s the only one guaranteed to get laid with a woman tonight.”

Yes! My sister-in-law made two versions of the same punch, one with rum and one without. So easy to just choose the one that worked for you.

I get it. I don’t feel it when it’s just family, but I very much do when we socialize with other family friends. Both my mother and sister are markedly smaller than me, and I‘ve gotten so many weird comments about how tiny they are. And of course I’ve been congratulated when I’m not pregnant.

It‘s eye opening for sure.

Yes! It’s that McKinsey in him. I’ve seen it in so many lawyers and b-school types. Not a great inherent sense of right and wrong—they need to be contained to certain tasks.

I remember being 12 watching My So Called Life and wondering how she did it. 30+ years later, she remains the premiere chin actor of our time.

No, but one kept saying “you’re not Mrs. Ally but you look like Mrs. Ally.”

The age of first-time homebuyers is increasing and life expectancy…isn’t. Such a disaster in the making.
