Stumbled across Scottish Christmas book fair today whilst waiting for train. Bought a few books and Christmas presents. And coincided with a Graeme Macrae Burnet book signing including thumb prints and book stamps...

Very proud to be a fellow of the college. So welcoming and outward looking. Some very insightful speeches recognising need for humanity in medicine in this modern world. Met new colleagues from Zambia and Edinburgh at the evening meal. It was a very special day.

Libraries are the best. I bought a copy of a book that is ex-library. Look at these attributes that provide a little bit of history. The borrower stamps. The infection related rule. Just wonderful.

Really this is so good. What a story. What an insight. What women. It's certainly a time investment but a worthwhile one.

Varied reading month. 3 very different 5 star reads reflecting endeavour to read stories from writers from around the world. Favourite probably has to be Duet for three.
