I very rarely go there, but duly noted!

We had the best time, and it felt so good to be alive. It was perfectly timed in that I had healed from surgery and not yet started the radiotherapy. My son and I met both of them briefly after the show (they signed things and said hi to fans) and we were both flying when we left the venue!

My son and I saw JVB live on Halloween and it was the most incredible gig. I caught a horrendous chest infection bug thing there (and still don't fully have my voice back!) but it was worth it. Amazing atmosphere. I was probably the oldest person there by 30 years but I did not care one bit!

When I get on the bus to go to the hospital, I put on Joey Valence & Brae to charge up some energy. After each session I go to my favourite cafe and have a chai latte (I only discovered chai lattes in September and I love them so much!). Then more JVB on the way home. The routine is helping.
