it's wild to think about, but the fast-food "hash brown patty" might actually be the perfect form factor of hash brown. When i air fry those frozen patties they hit supremely.

today i definitely got the taste right but the texture was all wrong: chewy, not crisp, even though the edges were getting pretty dark. It was my fault: i was making a lot and covered them to ensure they cooked through. Next attempt i will cook them longer on lower temp, uncovered.
