I agree w/the diagnosis but disagree w/the proposed cure. We need to build trust with folks and admit that cheap oil and gas are currently closely tied to their economic well-being.
We have to show a clean, prosperous, and plausible alternative. And keep fossils cheap for families while we do it.

The right has successfully painted climate action as an elite cause driven by the Davos Class, and the Democrats avoided rather than confronted that narrative.

Very cool to see the Trump admin taking the same approach to federal workers that I used to get my parents out of my room as a teen (make conditions so unpleasant that they have no choice but to leave).
