The fact that in both 2019 and 2024, the winning party did so with a set of manifesto promises that could not be kept and dissolved upon contact with actual office is something that as an industry we should be much more bothered by than we are.

Culture européenne surtout. Qui de l’Impact/#CFMTL a appris le français à Montréal?

…Joel Waterman. Pas un mot de français et il était le 2e doyen du club, vice-capitaine.

Often found wandering aimlessly
Sleep at random hours
Will do almost anything for free food
Have been there longer than most undergrads, less than full profs.

That being said, I haven't had time to look at the new ones like the Crilley et al. (global.oup.com/ushe/product...) or the other new ones.

I largely used the Cambridge one last year, mostly because it was available for online access (by more than one person at a time). That being said, I also found it well done and useful for students. www.cambridge.org/highereducat...

I hope not - just told my boss yesterday I didn’t think the NGF/NGWS was dead yet!
November 19, 2025 at 6:35 AM
I maintain my initial assessment: all three countries want to do it - NGF included, and they want to do it together, for diverse reasons.
November 17, 2025 at 12:52 PM
In the past few months, among others trial balloons:
- Dassault gets 80% of NGF
- Dassault gets 51 of NGF, DE & ES get bigger parts of other pillars
- Sweden replaces France (Sweden apparently wasn't informed)
- BAE replaces Dassault
- Pillars split nationally
- Just the cloud
etc.
Wait & see.

Max Truman confirmed it’s a disciplinary matter that would probably have resulted in termination in any other company (no details what).

Au moins un des trois (Sauvry) a choisi de quitter l’équipe de son propre chef (confirmé sur Twitter par lui-même), alors le titre est inexact.
