Selective Sanctuary • gouache & watercolor on paper

For a group show at 301 Gallery in collaboration with Friends of the Columbia Gorge, who gave artists access to lands they steward to inspire their work for the show; in this case, a habitat site for the endangered western pond turtle.
floaty watercolor painting in subdued blues and browns, depicting a mature western pond turtle surrounded by three baby pond turtles, interwoven with strands of western pond lily leaves, roots, and decaying spent flower pods. everything is drifting and floating as if underwater, but background is negative space in a warm cream tone.

New one-page Ingrid comic!! ☺️☺️☺️ This one was so fun!!!
Single page very colorful comic about Ingrid and a cool, butch-femme friend of hers. Both are dressed mostly in black - Ingrid in her signature oversized, cropped leather jacket and black skinny jeans, and her friend in baggy black jeans, a black tank top, and Doc Martens. They discuss that Ingrid always takes photos at shows but her friend wants to take pictures of her, instead, leading to a picture-taking session in which Ingrid lowers her jacket to halfway down her back, looking very sexy.

So... They can require you to use AI in production, they are required to provide you legal defense if anything happens because of it, and you have to cooperate with that defense.

This entire section is very producer-sided and I don't see anything protecting the intellectual property of creators.
