the only design choice I dislike in Silksong is the fights being artificially hard due to adds spawning. Early platforming with OG crest was fine, some of the tough boss runbacks were fine. When the solution to the fight is "upgrade your needle" more or less it sucks. I know you can use tools but!

my landlord was the family that owned Lenhardt's and Christy (daughter) would give me a free beer when I paid rent because I'd collect my roommate's rent for her since they were lazy as hell. They tore down both Lenhardt's and the house I lived to build the crappy "nice" apartments
